Recollecting Nemasket's mission is to collect, preserve, interpret, publish and promote the history of southeastern Massachusetts.
We wish to make local history more accessible, presenting it in a bold, exciting and professional manner.
We want our communities to discover and be fully inspired by their past in order to realize a more meaningful and relevant future.
WHAT WE DO
We publish and sell books related to the history of southeastern Massachusetts with a focus on Middleborough and Lakeville
We share local history through a web log, a bi-monthly newspaper feature and contributions to other publications
We collect records, documents, photographs and stories relating to the region’s history and make them available to the public through our own publications and the publications of others
We act as an interactive resource for the community’s history by sharing links and promoting the missions of the region's preservation organizations
